The Network for Early Childhood Development Actors Uganda (NECDA) is a collaborative movement uniting stakeholders across sectors to transform Uganda’s ECD landscape. By bridging gaps in coordination and championing inclusive, evidence-driven solutions, NECDA ensures every child aged 0–8 has the opportunity to thrive.

Collective Impact

NECDA addresses fragmentation in the ECD sector by offering a structured, inclusive space for collaboration and shared learning.

  • Connects civil society, government, academia, private sector, and ECD champions
  • Aligns efforts under a common vision
  • Builds synergy across the sector to avoid duplication and maximize impact

Despite strong policies, implementation has lagged due to poor coordination. NECDA ensures these frameworks translate into real change.
