The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MoGLSD), in collaboration with the Intercom Committee of the Network for Early Childhood Development Actors Uganda (NECDA), is proud to host the latest Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Cluster Meeting.
This pivotal gathering brings together a dynamic group of stakeholders—educators, policymakers, NGOs, community leaders, and development partners—united by a common mission: to advance access to quality early childhood care and education across Uganda.
The meeting serves as a platform to:
- Foster dialogue around pressing ECD challenges and opportunities.
- Share innovative practices and context-relevant solutions.
- Strengthen partnerships that accelerate equitable access to early learning.
As we work together to align efforts and amplify our collective impact, we are laying the foundation for a brighter, more just future for Uganda’s youngest children. Through shared commitment, technical expertise, and strategic coordination, we believe we can unlock transformative change in the ECCE landscape.
"The ECCE standards and guidelines are now finalized and submitted for approval. This marks a critical step forward in Uganda’s commitment to early childhood development. I congratulate the newly elected ECCE steering committee and urge all stakeholders to unite in ensuring every child receives the holistic
foundation they deserve."Hajjati Dr. Safina, Ministry of Education & Sports Tweet

Looking forward to how these updates will modernize processes and strengthen industry reputation!
